Charles Rosier invested in a pharmaceutical firm (Mapreg) to develop a healthcare project, managed by Professor Etienne Baulieu. The first project of his in the healthcare industry, was the Mapreg Drug project. He invested capital in Mapreg, a Paris-based medical laboratory that was in the business of researching about depression, strokes and other serious issues. The project was a test to find a treatment for strokes that can damage the spinal cord. Charles Rosier was its major investor.
Charles Rosier’s appointment at Lehman Brothers in 1996 was his first step towards his future. He became the manager of their Debt Capital Market Division at UBS Warburg in 1997. He has been an incredible investment banker for 15 years. He finally became a member of BTG Pactual in August 2010. BTG Pactual, an investment bank in Latin America, is a company at which he became a partner. In 1999, Goldman Sachs offered Charles Rosier a job. When he accepted the offer, he became their Managing Director.
